When I landed back in Michigan to get going started again in the USA, I scored this set of vintage dishes at a local thrift store and vowed to get ship them to myself wherever I landed.

Can’t wait for my first dinner party! Paella anyone?

I landed in SF last August. Strapped with trying to find a job I just sort of stopped posting.

Flash forward to 7 months later and I’ve got a whole new wardrobe (mostly from the thrift store) and my husband and 2 cats here with me living in Berkeley.

Crazy to think how much can change so quickly. Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia on our wedding day seems not so long ago!

Well, the adventure continues! After landing in San Fran for a few days to regroup, send resumes, interview-it-up and do some laundry we are headed for Santa Cruz for the weekend to get in some QT with Marilyn and Mike, great friends who just got engaged! CONGRATS! Can’t wait to do some serious celebrating with the two of you! We’re bringing the Cava!

Ok, so Gerard and I drove back yesterday from Lake Tahoe and stopped in Napa for an absolutely amazing dinner! WOWY! Now, we’re on our way to the Redwood Forest for some hiking before we turn in the rental car at 2! Wish us luck!
